There are some free gems in Spartanburg! And I will continue to update as the list grows :)

Free activities in Spartanburg:

  • Hub City Farmers’ Market – Walk around, enjoy the live music, and soak in the community vibes (you don’t have to buy anything).

  • Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve – Free, peaceful, and great for kids or a solo recharge walk.

  • Downtown Music + Art Events – Spartanburg has outdoor concerts and gallery nights all year.

  • Spartanburg County Libraries – Same deal as Greenville: free events, storytimes, and programs for all ages.

  • Mary Black Rail Trail – Perfect for a walk, run, or bike ride. Bonus: there’s usually something fun happening nearby at the Rail Yard.
